Chairlift

The Gorge Scenic Chairlift is a unique experience that lets you view the Cataract Gorge from above. The chairlift takes you over the huge naturally formed basin, filled by the waters of the South Esk River, and provides stunning views of both the eastern and western side of the reserve. The gentle, safe, and breathtaking ride is suitable for all ages and is wheelchair friendly. The chairlift is part of the Cataract Gorge Reserve, which features a swimming pool, playground, BBQs, toilets, and changerooms, as well as a Victorian garden with ferns and exotic plants. The reserve is also home to peacocks, wallabies, and other wildlife, making it a great place to visit with family
