Cradle Mountain is a mountain in the Central Highlands region of Tasmania, situated in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. The park features dramatic, serrated peaks, glacial-carved lakes, unique grasslands, and ancient rainforest, offering world-class hikes and unique wildlife experiences. The mountain is 1,545 meters above sea level and is the sixth-highest mountain in Tasmania. The area has a number of day walks, as well as being one terminus of the Overland Track.
