What to expect

Raptor Domain is a conservation centre and wildlife experience on Kangaroo Island, passionate about the protection and conservation of birds and reptiles through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and research. The centre offers a free-flight Birds of Prey presentation, which is an interactive and educational experience where visitors can see and interact with various birds, including majestic Wedge-tailed Eagles, laughing Kookaburras, and chatty Cockatoos. The presentation is suitable for families and provides a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate these incredible birds. Raptor Domain also offers private experiences and an Eagle Hold Experience, where visitors can hold one of the centre's wedge-tailed eagles. The centre welcomes and assists people with disabilities and offers facilities such as a carpark, coach parking, family-friendly areas, food and refreshments, and a shop

This family's experience:

Activities: We visited Raptor Domain, a wildlife sanctuary, and booked the Ultimate Package which covers all three shows run at Raptor Domain: the Venom Pit, In-Flight and Fang-tastic shows

Highlights: We were fascinated by the unique way Raptor Domain operates, with shows scheduled across the day to restrict the amount of time the reptiles, birds and other animals have with humans ✨
