First Coat Studios is a creative-lead outfit supporting contemporary arts practices. The studio is located in Toowoomba, Queensland, and is known for its public art catalogue, which features over 80 public art sites created by innovative and inspiring artists from across the globe. The studio provides an ongoing platform for artists to collaborate with businesses and the public, positioning Toowoomba as a city at the forefront of regional arts. First Coat Studios is also the presenter of the First Coat International Art Festival, which operated as a three-day event from 2013-2017 and featured large-scale murals throughout the CBD
