Rex Smeal Park is a beautiful destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The park offers stunning views of the Coral Sea, lush greenery, and plenty of activities for visitors of all ages. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists, with plenty of shady spots for a relaxing picnic, walking trails, a playground for kids, and fishing opportunities. The park is also home to several large shady fig trees, grassy green lawns, and coconut fringed foreshore. A new playground is being constructed, designed as an equal access space with a natural aesthetic and wheelchair/pram boardwalk linking to the carpark and amenity block
