What to expect
The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is the largest butterfly flight aviary and exhibit in Australia, home to over 1,200 magnificent tropical butterflies from various species. Visitors can walk through the aviary's boardwalks and gardens, surrounded by these beautiful creatures. The sanctuary also offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the breeding laboratory, where visitors can learn about the life cycle of butterflies and see caterpillars in different stages of development. Additionally, there are educational exhibits, a UV room, and a museum display showcasing butterflies from around the world.
