What to expect

The Airlie Beach Bicentennial Walk is a 4km pedestrian-friendly coastal path with marvelous views. It's suitable for walking, cycling, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades. The walk takes you from the centre of Airlie Beach to Cannonvale Beach, passing by the Coral Sea Marina, Shingley Beach, and Turtle Boardwalk. You can enjoy stunning scenery, photo opportunities, and stops at Sorrentos bar and restaurant. The boardwalk has been upgraded with a composite fibre material, increasing its width and safety. The walk is dog-friendly, and there are rest areas with barbecues and toilet facilities. It's a great spot for families to spend a couple of hours, with opportunities to see cockatoos, kookaburras, and other Australian species
