Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool

Cave Yarrangobilly, New South Wales, Australia

What to expect

Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool is a magical swimming spot in Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales. The thermal pool, fed by a natural spring, is permanently heated to 27°C and is a great place to visit with family. The pool is surrounded by a pristine mountain river setting and is easily combined with a picnic and walk in the Yarrangobilly area. The main pool overflows with a gentle cascade into a children's wading pool, making it a great spot for families with kids. There are also several walking tracks, including the Yarrangobilly River walk and the Glory Farm walk, which offer stunning views and opportunities to spot wildlife. The Yarrangobilly Caves system includes several independent limestone caves formed over different time periods, with three lit show caves regularly open to visitors, including the South Glory Cave, Jersey Cave, and Jillabenan Cave
