The Helensburgh Glowworm Tunnel is a historic tunnel home to a spectacular colony of glow worms. The tunnel is 624m long and features impressive brickwork. Visitors can walk through the tunnel and see the glow worms, but are advised to keep noise to a minimum and apply insect repellent before entering. The area surrounding the tunnel is also home to historic railway stations and platforms, which have been restored and can be visited.
