Tumut & District Historical Society Museum

The Tumut & District Historical Society Museum is a great place to visit with family and friends. The museum has a collection of Miles Franklin memorabilia, a historical photographic collection, and items of agricultural machinery relating to the Tumut district. The museum also has other items of significance to the community. The museum has undergone refurbishment to improve access to the collection and display areas. Exhibitions and projects are being worked on, including a 'Doctors, Nurses & Midwives' exhibition and a book on 'Tumut - the Early Years'
