What to expect

The Sydney Tramway Museum is a great place for families to visit, with a wide selection of vintage trams from Sydney and other cities in Australia, as well as from overseas. The museum operates 4 kilometres of track, with one line running 1.5 kilometres north towards Sutherland and the other 2.5 kilometres south to the Royal National Park. Visitors can take a step back in time and experience what it was like to ride on these historic trams. The museum also has a display hall and offers unlimited tram rides, making it a fun and educational day out for the whole family. Mobility-impaired visitors have easy access to most of the site, and the museum staff are happy to assist wherever possible
