Prince Alfred Park is a 7.5-hectare urban park in Surry Hills, Sydney. The park offers plenty of green space and recreational facilities, including an outdoor pool, sports courts, playgrounds, and fitness equipment. It is a great place for families to visit, with barbecue and picnic areas, a toddlers' playground, and an enclosed playground. The park also features a swimming pool, tennis courts, and basketball courts. The park's layout was designed by Benjamin Backhouse and still retains some of its original features, including Moreton Bay fig trees along the boundaries. The park has a long history, having hosted the Royal Easter Show and the Sydney Intercolonial Exhibition in the late 19th century
