What to expect

Fairlight Beach is an 80m long, south-facing pocket of coarse sand, with a small rock pool occupying its eastern end. The beach is backed by a narrow grassy foreshore reserve and coastal walk, making it suitable for weddings, picnics, snorkelling, scuba diving, and calm swimming activities. It's extremely popular with families as the rockpools are safe places for toddlers to paddle in, and the swimming pool is another safe swimming option. The beach is also a popular spot for snorkelers and divers, with plenty of fish to be found in shallow waters off the beach or a bit further out
