Dobroyd Head is a point or headland in the Northern Beaches local government area, in the suburb of Balgowlah Heights, New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Sydney Harbour National Park and contains examples of ecosystems at risk such as coastal heath. The Arabanoo lookout at Dobroyd Head offers fantastic views over to North Head and South Head and the expansive Pacific Ocean, making it a great spot for whale watching. The lookout is named in honour of Arabanoo, the first Aboriginal man to live among European settlers. There are signs and monuments around the lookout that provide historical information about the significance of the area. Visitors can also take a short walk to Grotto Point Lighthouse and the Aboriginal rock engravings or head to Dobroyd Head lookout or Reef Beach
