The Chau Chak Wing Museum is a university museum that brings together the University of Sydney's Nicholson, Macleay, and Art collections under one roof. The museum invites audiences to explore Australia's natural history, art, and culture, with a collection of over 30,000 artefacts representing ancient cultures from the Mediterranean, North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The museum features six main galleries, including the Ian Potter Gallery, Macleay Gallery, Nicholson Gallery, Penelope Gallery, Power Gallery, and the China Gallery. The building incorporates Indigenous Australian design features and landscaping, and the forecourt includes a replica of a pre-invasion Aboriginal petroglyph. The museum offers a range of exhibitions and events, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
