What to expect

Town Beach is a popular beach in Port Macquarie, located near the centre of town. It is a patrolled beach for most of the year and has modern toilet and shower facilities, a kiosk, and a car park running the length of the beach. The 600-metre long beach curves between the southern river entrance wall and a jagged 15-metre high headland, capped by the Pilots flagstaff. Families enjoy the open grassed areas with some shade overlooking the beach, picnic facilities, and a modern and innovative playground, outdoor gym equipment, and skate park. The beach is also a favourite spot for board riders due to its numerous bars and protection from south winds. The nearby Town Beach break wall features colourful graffiti rocks, a popular and iconic site
