What to expect

Mungo Visitor Centre is the perfect introduction to an adventure in the World Heritage-listed Mungo National Park and Willandra Lakes. The centre offers excellent displays and a park brochure to help visitors explore the area. Visitors can join guided tours, including the Mungo Walk the Walls of China Tours and Willandra Lakes guided tours, to learn about the area's important Aboriginal cultural heritage and significance. The centre also features picnic, barbecue, and toilet facilities, and is located next to historic Mungo Woolshed and Mungo Shearers' Quarters. The Meeting Place is a great spot to relax and learn about the park's cultural heritage and natural history, with informative exhibits and a dramatic re-creation of the famous 20,000-year-old human footprints
