Sweeney's Arts and Craft Cottage is a quaint space filled with various crafts, trinkets, and delightful surprises. It is a haven of colourful enchantments in the form of art, gems, burnt wooden bowls, delicious jams and pickles, and many other delights. The cottage has a rich history, capturing the true community essence of the opal fields that surround it. It was established by Una Ballard and other ladies in 1997, using the camp of the late Ray Sweeney, a respected member of the community.
