What to expect

The Yuin Cultural Heritage Trail is a 15km long trail that recognizes the sacred places, legends, history, and recent achievements of the Djiringanj Clan of the Yuin Nation. The trail features nine information signs that provide insight into the culture and heritage of the area. The trail is suitable for families and takes you through beautiful native forest, re-grown since the days of the gold rush, and features stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The trail is marked with an orange Y on the Bermagui town map and services guide, making it easy to follow. The signs are located at various points of interest, including Bilima Rock, a huge ochre-colored rock formation shaped like a sea turtle, and Murunna Point, which offers stunning views of the lake
