Horse Head Rock

Horse Head Rock is a 500-million-year-old, ancient rock formation that resembles the shape of a horse's head. It is located near Bermagui on the far south coast of New South Wales. The rock can be viewed from a lookout platform accessed by a 1.5-kilometre walking track between Camel Rock and Murunna Point. For a closer look, visitors can walk along the beach at low tide from Camel Rock Surf Beach and scramble across the rocks to reach Horse Head Rock.
