Lady Musgrave Island is a 14 hectares coral cay on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, with a 1,192 hectares surrounding reef. The island is the second southernmost island in the Great Barrier Reef chain of islands. It is a national park and is part of the Capricornia Cays Important Bird Area. The island has a small pond of brackish water, and its vegetation consists of Pisonia grandis, Tournefortia argentea, Casuarina equisetifolia, and Pandanus tectorius. The island is home to a diverse range of marine life, including turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and whales. Visitors can swim, dive, and snorkel in the island's crystal-clear waters, exploring the coral reefs and witnessing the incredible marine life. The island is also a great spot for birdwatching, with many species of birds calling the island home
