What to expect

The Australian National Botanic Gardens is a heritage-listed botanical garden located in Acton, Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The gardens is the largest living collection of native Australian flora and maintains a wide variety of botanical resources for researchers and cultivates native plants threatened in the wild. The gardens are organised in thematic sections, with plants grouped by shared taxonomy or presented in ecological groupings that exist in nature. More than 5,500 species are cultivated, including rainforest plants, rock garden plants, and plants from the Sydney region. The gardens also feature a herbarium and offer guided tours, including a 45-minute guided tour aboard an electric bus
