What to expect

The Parque General San Martín is a large park located in the city of Mendoza, Argentina. The park was designed by the French Argentine landscape architect Carlos Thays and features a combination of English and French 19th-century styles. It has 34 sculptures, a rose garden with 500 species of roses, a lake with an island, and a Natural Science Museum with exhibits on archaeology, paleontology, and zoology. The park is also home to the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, and the Frank Romero Day Amphitheater, which hosts the annual Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia. The park offers a variety of activities for families, including walking, biking, and visiting the Mendoza Zoological Park.
