What to expect

The República de los Niños is a thematic and educational park, the first of its kind in Latin America, designed for children. It is located in Manuel B. Gonnet, La Plata, Argentina, and spans over 53 hectares. The park reproduces a urban and rural conglomerate in a scale suitable for 10-year-old children, featuring representations of all the institutions corresponding to a democratic system, such as a parliament, a government house, a court of justice, a church, a port, a theater, an airport, restaurants, and hotels. The park's mission is to inspire and promote learning through play, allowing children to experience the functioning of democratic institutions and principles. It is considered a valuable historical and cultural asset, declared a National Historic Monument, Platense Architectural Heritage, and Cultural Heritage of the Partido de La Plata

This family's experience:

Activities: We visited the park but were disappointed to find it overcrowded and the water splash park was a health hazard

Highlights: Unfortunately, our little one was upset after the big trek to the park ✨
